PROGRAM OF ETHICS AND POLITICAL THEORY
The Program of Ethics and Political Theory is the result of a common effort to link different researchers and professors of the School of Law who develop research projects associated with ethical and political issues. The Program is located in the Research Centre for Legal and Social Issues of the School of Law at the National University of Cordoba. Currently, the Program participates in different research projects and assesses some important public policies which affect citizens' most basic rights. Its members are: Hugo Seleme, Guillermo Lariguet, Rodolfo Salassa Boix, Lucas Misseri, Nuria Reartes, Cristián Fatauros, Luciana Samamé, Caludio Viale, Adriana Vercellone, Andrea Fasoli, Santiago Truccone Borgogno, Carlos Krauth, Luis Alberto Díaz Graz, Romina Frontalini Rekers, Lucrecia Aceto, Ramiro Moyano, Ercilia Aden, Florencia Rodriguez Nasuty, Josefina Ferreyra, Ana Richter, Nathaliee Mousist, Federico Rodríguez, Ignacio Gómez Perdiguero, Nadia Garayo, Guadalupe Lanzaco, Matias Molina, Tristán Reyna, María Luisa Renna, Sofía Britos, Gonzalo Olmedo y Valentina Huais. The Program of Ethics and Political Theory has several research groups that are dedicated to the study of problems related to normative, practical and applied ethics. Some of the issues addressed by its members are theory of justice, moral emotions, intergenerational justice, cyber-policies, republicanism, global justice, property rights, taxes, federalism, virtue ethics, moral responsibility, climate change, human rights, interpretation and law argumentation, philosophy of education, political legitimacy, etc. More info (here). |
Organising Committee
Since 2015 the Program has a group dedicated to the exclusive study of intergenerational problems. This group investigates issues related to climate change, reproductive ethics, historical injustices, and some population problems.
